Captain Z put himself on the water catching fish full-time in the Florida Keys as soon as he was able. The dues were paid to the powers that rule the seas when in the seventies young Captain Z put his time in commercial fishing focusing on lobster, stone crab, snapper, grouper and mahi mahi. His best day ever landed was a commercial catch of over 1400 pounds of snapper on the dock. However, Captain Z says," I like catching snapper and trapping fish but there's nothing like having a blue marlin taking your line to the max while you hold on for a wild Islamorada ride.
